Vukasin Masic Lower Than 13.5 Points
The Portland Pilots get the Denver Pioneers in Portland today. You’ll want to go lower on Vukasin Masic’s points total.
Masic is averaging 13.3 points per game this year, but he’s failed to clear 13.5 points in four out of six match ups this year. This number is juiced because Masic went off for 24 points in his only true home game this year. However the match up is a little tougher than it looks on paper.
Denver is only allowing opponents to sink three-pointers at a 24.1% rate this year. That’s fourth best in the country. The Pioneers should harass Masic on the outside and keep his point total lower than the 13.5 listed. Zach Freemantle Lower Than 11.5 Rebounds + Assists
Xavier gets to pad their win total as South Carolina State visit the Cintas Center. The Musketeers will likely wreck the Bulldogs, and Xavier power forward Zach Freemantle will likely go lower than 11.5 rebounds and assists.
This one is based on usage rate. Xavier has played three home games against non-conference teams that they should beat. Freemantle only played more than 30 minutes in one of them, and he went lower than 11.5 rebounds and assists in two of them. He’s also gone lower than 11.5 rebounds and assists in five out of seven games this year.
Xavier has a road match up with TCU coming up this week, and they just got back from Fort Myers. There’s no reason for Freemantle to play a full workload here. You’ll want to go lower on his rebounds and assists total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Brice Williams Higher Than 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
The North Florida Ospreys visit Nebraska for a match up with the Cornhuskers today. Nebraska guard Brice Williams should deliver from long range in this one.
North Florida is allowing opponents to shoot 33.9% from beyond the arc this year. That’s 212th in the nation. Williams is shooting 38.9% from three-point land at home this year. He’s also averaging 1.8 threes in four home games this year. Williams should get his against a soft North Florida perimeter defense.
