Week 14 College Football Picks

Week 14 College Football Picks

Back to back 2-0 mini sweeps to close out the finishing stretch of the college football season. We are really down to the closing stretch of the season and are starting to see a firmer picture of the first ever 12 team college football playoff. We have a ton of rivalry games on this weekends slate such as the Egg Bowl, The Game, and The Iron Bowl. Below, we will take a look at two College Football Picks to sweat during this weekends slate.

Week 14 College Football Picks

Michigan (43.5) at Ohio State -20.5

Quite the interesting line in this year’s version of “The Game.” We all figured Ohio State would be solid, but we did not expect them to be laying three touchdowns against the defending national champions. Michigan has clearly not been the same after dealing with some recruiting violations and losing their head coach. Although it has not been there best season, everything can change with a win against Ohio State. Now, I do not believe Michigan will outlast Ohio State in this year’s game, but I can see Michigan keeping this one close.

Ohio State is coming off their biggest win of the season of the season and Michigan has their eyes on upsetting the Buckeyes. Whether they get that done or not, look for the Wolverines to come out as hungry as ever and keep this game within three scores.

The Pick: Michigan +20.5

Houston (41.5) at BYU -11

After a year of fading BYU in plenty of spots, and coming out on top, we may have to buy them here. The Cougars are coming off two questionable showings and have one last chance to prove themselves. They host Houston who is one of the weakest Big 12 teams. The Cougars of Houston have been very unimpressive this season and do not have the firepower to run with these Cougars. BYU is going to be extremely hungry this week after what they have shown of late. I can see this game being close for about a quarter and a half, but the Cougars of BYU will prevail in the end and cover this number.

The Pick: BYU -11
