Jamal Mashburn Jr. made last night’s card a little sweaty, but we managed to get a sweep. Kalkbrenner flew higher on rebounds, and Klesmit went lower on points + rebounds. Sometimes…you have to say ‘it’s over’ for ‘we’re so back’ to really have meaning. Feast week rolls into Saturday and we’ve got momentum. Let’s get another sweep on our Underdog Fantasy college basketball card for November 23.
Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!
Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks November 23
Matthew Dewoskin Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Pick Em Record (Est 11/4/2024)
All Pick Em Selections: 30-24-0
Spicy Multiplier Picks: 0-0
Perfect 3-0 Pick Em Entries: 5-13
Blue Cain Higher Than 4.5 Rebounds
Georgia travels to the Bahamas and gets Marquette in the Baha-Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. Blue Cain enters this one averaging 5.2 boards per game. He’s also gone higher than 4.5 in three out of five games this year.
These games in the islands, especially team’s first games in the island, tend to be a little sloppy in the early going. It’s an unusual gym, a travel spot for everyone, and a ton of off-court distractions. Expect a lot of missed shots early, and expect Blue Cain to find himself in front of a few.
Marquette has allowed 35.8 rebounds per game to opponents this year, and Georgia has been one of the better rebounding teams in the country this year.
Cain should play 30 minutes or more, so usage shouldn’t be an issue. He’s shown an ability to get in the right position to grab a bunch of boards, and there should be plenty in this early game. Go higher on Blue Cain rebounds in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 23.
Braden Smith Lower Than 15.5 Points
Marshall heads to Mackey Arena to face Purdue today, and Braden Smith is getting a little too much love on points.
Smith has gone lower than 15.5 points in three of five games played this year. He put up 22 points against Yale and 17 against Alabama. Purdue has played at a slower pace than normal this year. Also, Smith tends to look to facilitate instead of getting his.
This game is also Marshall’s first road game of the season, and they’re going into a hornet’s nest. There’s a non-zero chance that the Thundering Herd gets drilled, and Smith spends most of the second half cheering on walk-ons.
Smith should end the day lower on his points total, and you’ll want to do the same in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 23rd.
Adama-Alpha Bal Lower Than 5.5 Rebounds + Assists
Stanford travels to the Leavey Center to face Santa Clara, and we’ve got a square number on Adama-Alpha Bal’s rebounds + assists total. Bal is a shoot-first, shoot-second guard, and he doesn’t contribute much on the defensive boards.
In five games this year, Bal has only gone higher than 5.5 rebounds + assists once this year. Also, Stanford has been really good defensively this year. They’ve limited opponents to only 7.0 assists per game and only 28.4 total rebounds per game.
Bal should have limited opportunities to fill up the box score with Stanford coming to Santa Clara. Make sure you go lower on his rebounds and assists total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 23rd.
