Instead of losing a high-scoring game on Sunday, the Detroit Pistons won a low-scoring one, and just like that I’m down money on my NBA plays for the month. But tomorrow is a new day – and all 30 NBA teams are in action. Here’s your NBA predictions & preview for Monday, November 4th.
NBA Predictions & Preview For Monday, November 4th
Milwaukee Bucks vs Cleveland Cavaliers
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The season couldn’t have started any better for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they are the league’s first team to seven wins, going a perfect 7-0 so far. Pretty much the opposite of how things have gone for their Central Division rival Milwaukee Bucks, who are out of sorts at 1-5.
Cleveland just beat Milwaukee by a point on their home court on Saturday night. Now I expect them to be even better at home, and my math says they can easily cover the spread for us.
Best Bets: Cleveland -7 (-112)
Orlando Magic vs Oklahoma City Thunder
Start Time – 9:15 PM EST
The Oklahoma City Thunder aren’t playing around this season, running out of the gates with six straight wins and being the top-rated team in the NBA. Tomorrow night the Orlando Magic limp into town missing their star forward Paolo Banchero, currently nursing a torn oblique, which doesn’t sound like a fun injury.
Even before taking into account the Banchero injury, I have OKC pegged as a 20-point favorite tomorrow night – that’s how dominant they’ve been this season. The closest any team has gotten to them in a game thus far is 12 points.
Best Bets: Oklahoma City -12.5 (-110)
Overall Record: 3-3 (50%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): -($35.18)
Return on Investment: -6%
