NFL Week 8 wraps up on Monday Night Football with a non-conference matchup between the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Russell Wilson took over as the starting quarterback for the Steelers in Week 7 and put on a brilliant performance. Meanwhile, the Giants continue to struggle and the hopes of making any type of postseason appearance continue to diminish. Below are my Giants at Steelers Preview and Predictions.
The bright spot for the Giants has been their ability to generate pressure and sack the opposing quarterbacks. Tonight this will be truer than ever going up against the Steelers offensive line and Russell Wilson. Cornerback Adoree Jackson is out tonight for the Giants and Dexter Lawerence is a true game-time decision for the Giants.
Meanwhile, the Steelers’ offense in the one game Wilson started for the team looked the best all season. Mike Tomlin continues to find ways for the team to win games. On the injury front, the Steelers will be without some key depth pieces. Additionally, Cordarrelle Patterson will be out tonight as he continues to deal with an ankle injury.

Best Bets
Daniel Jones comes into this game with a history of not having success in his career in primetime games. In fact, the Jones is 1-14 SU in primetime games But do the Steelers warrant being a six-point favorite in this game? Since the 2016 season, the Steelers on Monday Night Football are 5-1 straight up but just 3-3 against the spread.
I believe the Steelers are coming in a bit overvalued in this game as a six-point favorite. If the Giants are able to generate pressure against the Steelers offensive line and sack Wilson the Giants can stay in this game. Since 2016, in road games on Monday Night Football the Giants are 1-6 SU but are 5-2 against the spread. I would be surprised is a field goal victory for the Steelers. I’ll take the contrarian side and take the points with the Giants.

Devin Singletary Under 29.5 Rushing Yards
Devin Singletary’s role continues to diminish in the backfield for the Giants. Tyrone Tracy Jr. took 67% of the snaps in the backfield last week compared to 21% for Devin Singletary. Furthermore, the Steelers rush defense has been phenomenal thus far this season. In fact, the Steelers are allowing only 3.51 yards per carry this season. With the backfield sharing carries for the Giants I’ll take the Under for Singletary.
