The Quarterback position is intense and we have a lot of guys between QB10-20 that have similar value. But, matchups matter, and streaming the right QB could be the difference between a win and a loss. Below are the top teams allowing the most fantasy points per game per position.

Updated Week 8 Fantasy Football Rankings: Top Streaming Options

Again, matchups matter and at this point in this season we have great data to guide us on who to attack. Another position that is highly dependent on the matchup is D/ST. I rarely draft one and never draft one early because of this. The Bengals were our stream of the week last week, we have several great options for you this week. It can be hard to find a consistent option at the tight-end position, you may need a rotation. Last week we streamed Mark Andrews, and that worked out.

Rank (PPG) QB RB WR TE K D/ST
32 Jaguars Panthers Vikings Chiefs Falcons Raiders
31 Buccaneers Bills Lions Rams Saints Titans
30 Ravens Patriots Ravens Colts Panthers Browns
29 Panthers Cowboys Jaguars Bengals Dolphins Dolphins
28 Cardinals Saints Buccaneers Panthers Raiders Patriots

QB, Bo Nix – Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers (29th)

Bo Nix has the 4th most rushing yards at the Quarterback position this year. Nix has been playing well and has finished top-10 in two of his last three games. In the air, he has been very efficient with five touchdowns and 1 interception over the last 4 weeks. This is a great matchup for the Broncos wide receivers and Bo Nix. Look for Nix to bounce back through the air against the Carolina Panthers.

QB, Kirk Cousins – Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (31st)

We saw a three-week tear from Kirk Cousins that made us all think he was back. Last week his luck ran out with a three-interception performance. The game got out of hand and it cost Cousins his week. This week he gets the Buccaneers who are a plus matchup. Tampa is reeling right now with the losses of Chris Godwin and Mike Evans to their offense. Their defense is tough to run against, but they are the 2nd best quarterback matchup. Fire up some Creed and get Cousins in that lineup.

QB, Tua Tagovailoa – Miami Dolphins vs. Arizona Cardinals (28th)

Tua is back and he should be back in your lineup. This offense has been atrocious without him and he needs more respect for how important he is to it. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle’s managers are excited to see Tua back as well. We all hope Tua can stay healthy for the rest of the season. That will be on the back of everyone’s minds all season. We know we won’t get any scrambling or rushing from Tua. This offense is ready to roll against a plus matchup, start Tua.

Deeper Options: Patrick Mahomes at Las Vegas Raiders. Thanks for reading, this one is for you. Yes, Mahomes is not a deeper option. But, he has not been someone you can start every week in 1QB leagues. Mahomes’ season high was a QB12 finish in Week 1. In his last 3 games, he has finished as QB19, QB20, and QB17. But, this week he gets the Raiders and he should have a big week.

TE, Cade otton – Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta Falcons (15th)

Cade Otton has been solid all season, but we saw him emerge as a top option. The Buccaneers lost both star wide receivers last week and Otton’s role should increase. Otton was a popular pick-up on the waiver wire this week and I am starting him confidently.

TE, Hunter Henry – New England Patriots vs. New York Jets (9th)

Hunter Henry really should be an every-week start. He has been solid all year, but even better with Drake Maye. This offense does not have many receiving options. They lost Demario Douglas last week to illness and Poik to a concussion. Douglas should be back, but Polk is likely out again. We could finally see Javon Baker get some run. But, Hunter Henry has been the team’s top target and he should be started.

TE, David Njoku – Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens (27th)

David Njoku was dropped in many leagues and we told you to pick him up. No, we did not predict the injury to Deshaun Watson, but we knew Winston was coming soon. This offense looked awful until Watson left last week. Jameis Winston played half a quarter and we saw Njoku catch a touchdown from him. He has a history of targeting the tight end position and being an aggressive thrower. Last year we saw David Njoku blow up under Joe Flacco, could lightning strike twice for the Chief?

Deeper Option: Will Dissley (LAC) vs. New Orleans Saints (17th)

D/ST – Green Bay Packers at Jacksonville Jaguars (16th)

Do not let that 16th rank fool you, the Jaguars are one of the top teams to target in every category. This team is on the brink of new management and Trevor Lawrence has been a turnover machine. On top of the good matchup, the Green Bay Packers are a good defense. We know that they have the ability to run a kickback every week. But, Xavier McKinney has been on fire and this Packers team should dominate this week.

D/ST – Detroit Lions at Tennessee Titans (31st)

The Lions are without Aidan Hutchinson, but they get a plus matchup. Tennessee is giving up the second most points to the defensive and special teams position. They have also sold off two pieces this week and looking like a team preparing for 2025. This team has everything you are looking for in a team to target. Tennessee has a bad offensive line and bad quarterbacks, and they lack playmakers. It does not matter if it is Will Levis or Mason Rudolph, start the Detroit Lions’ D/ST.

D/ST – Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts (6th)

Anthony Richardson started the season off hot in Week 1. it has been pretty rough since then. He is completing under 50% of his passes and his rushing has not been able to save him. The negative plays continue to add up, having six interceptions in just five games. As a passer, he has less than 300 yards and 0 touchdowns combined in his last three games. As a runner, he needed 14 carries to get over 50 yards last week. The Texans have a good pass rush and playmakers that make them a good play this week.

Deeper Option: Chicago Bears at Washington Commanders (2nd) if Marcus Mariota gets the start.
