Another 1-1 week, and what a horrific beat we had on our hands… On Friday, we ran to the counter as Oklahoma State easily covered and nearly won as 9.5-point underdogs in Provo. We looked to be in the clear with a 2-0 week as Colorado and Arizona saw their live total get up to 69.5. There were 28 points through the first 17 minutes of the game. All to end in a 34-7 game and lose our pick of over 56. We have another fun slate on our hands with a few top 25 matchups. Below, we will go through our College Football Picks for week 9 and dish out a few winners!
Week 9 College Football Picks
Nebraska (48.5) at Ohio State -25.5
Although they are massive favorites, Ohio State gets it’s first home test of the season against a hungry Nebraska team. The Huskers are in a back-to-back road spot and just ran into the buzzsaw of Indiana. They were 6.5-point dogs in that game and did not come close!
Marcus Satterfield will call his 20th game at Nebraska on Saturday.
To me, this answer is somewhat alarming when asked about running the football…
“I have to commit to it. I’ve got to get in the mindset of you have to, in order to win in this league, establish the run game.” pic.twitter.com/aRE9JSf3ku

The total for this game is extremely low, which tells us the value of the point will be inflated here. If Nebraska can put two to three touchdowns on the board this week, they should cover this number with ease. Now that is not going to be easy, as Ohio State has one of the more electric defenses in the nation. I believe Nebraska is far better than what they showed at Indiana, and this number is a massive overreaction. Look for the talented Nebraska offense to bounce back this week and stay within this number.
The Pick: Nebraska +25.5
BYU (55.5) at UCF -2
7-0 and number 11 in the country, BYU heads to UCF to take on the Knights, and the Cougars are… underdogs? This line tells us everything we need to know. Heading into the week, BYU is yet to have a tough road test, and the bounce house in Orlando is no joke. Although UCF is 3-4, they have played a tough schedule and nearly defeated one of the best teams in the league last week. The Knights were winning with under one minute left against Iowa State last week. Surely, they will come out with a bang and put up a great fight against a BYU team who has a massive target on its back.
The Pick: UCF -2
