NFL Week 6 features a conference battle between the Arizona Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field. Arizona is coming off an upset victory over the 49ers and the Packers notched a win against the Rams. A very important game here for both teams to keep the momentum rolling. Below are my Cardinals vs. Packers Preview and Predictions.
Jordan Love will make his third start since returning from injury and the Packers have split the last two games. The Packers start a stretch of three home games in the next four games. Meanwhile, the Cardinals look to find some consistency as they have yet to put together back-to-back wins this season.
Packers are dealing with a bevy of injuries on both sides of the football. More so we’ll have to keep our eyes on the Jaire Alexander and Darnell Savage’s availability in this game. Meanwhile, Christian Watson who is dealing with an ankle injury has been a limited participant in practice this week. Additionally, tight end Tucker Craft popped up on the injury report dealing with a groin injury. On the other side, the Cardinals have two injuries on the offensive line with Kelvin Beachum and Evan Brown. Also, kicker Matt Prater is dealing with a left knee injury.
Cardinals vs. Packers Preview and Predictions
Best Bets
As I mentioned above, the Arizona Cardinals have struggled to put together back-to-back wins. In fact, since the 2022 season, the Cardinals are 0-9 SU and 2-6-1 ATS (25%) when they are coming off a win. Further, if that next game is on the road, 0-3 SU and 0-2-1 ATS. The defense has also struggled in those spots allowing 28 points per game.
We know the Packers have one of the better home-field advantages in the and I expect them to show a better effort than they did in their last home game against the Vikings. If the Packers are able to limit the big plays in this game they should find success in this game. Keep an eye out for the status of Jaire Alexander and Darnell Savage.
Best Bet: Packers -5.5 and Team Total Over 27
Player Prop Best Bet
Josh Jacobs Over 67.5 Rushing Yards
The Arizona Cardinals come into this game struggling to defend the rush. Teams are rushing for 122.4 yards per game on 4.67 yards per game. At least one running back in each week has exceeded this projection against the Cardinals except the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Josh Jacobs has been more than serviceable this season for the Packers.
In fact, Josh Jacobs is averaging 4.5 yards per carry and has three games this season where he has exceeded 68 rushing yards. I believe we see a more balanced attack for the Packers.
