College Football Underdog Fantasy Season Long Picks
Shedeur Sanders Higher Than 3250.5 Passing Yards
The Buffs are back with Sanders and Co. in control. Last season, Shedeur passed for 3,230 yards in the PAC 12. This season, Colorado will have a far tougher schedule, so it may not be as easy. Personally, I do not think Colorado will have a great year.
“So Matt, why would we select the ‘Higher Than’ for Sanders passing yards?” Great question! I believe this season will be a massive campaign for “Get Shedeur to the NFL.”
Coach Sanders will have his son throw season-long to boast a very fruitful stat line at the end of the year. I can see Colorado going up in flames this year, with Shedeur having a great year and Deion jumping ship. No matter what, the Colorado QB will have a great season.
Ollie Gordon Lower Than 1400.5 Rushing yards
Gordon very well may be the best running back in the nation, but 1,400 is a lot of yards. Last year, he easily broke this number, rushing for over 1,700 yards. I do believe this year will be different for a few reasons.
First, I believe the Cowboys will rely on the passing game a lot more in 2024. Every defense will key on Gordon, forcing them to air it out more often. Second, I believe OSU will be very careful with Gordon this season. They do not have National Championship hopes, and the last thing he wants is to get hurt and ruin his chances at the NFL.
Zachariah Branch Higher Than 650.5 Receiving Yards
Branch is an absolute electric factory and is going to be in for a big year. The sophomore made a name for himself returning kicks for The Trojans last season but his role will be expanded this year.
Expect him to be used in the slot and also catch passes from the backfield. Branch has plenty of run-after-catch ability, which means he can go for upwards of 100+ a game off a simple swing pass.
Miller Moss is clearly a step down from Caleb Williams but he proved to have more than enough capability. He played extremely well in that bowl game against Louisville. Look for this duo to have a great year and Branch to cash you a College Football Underdog Fantasy Season Long Pick.
Isaiah Bond Higher Than 655.5 Receiving Yards
Bond takes the trip from Tuscaloosa to Austin. He stays in the SEC but will wear a different jersey color. Bond tallied just over 620 yards for The Tide last season, and I really expect that to jump this season.
He is in an offense with a far better passing Quarterback than he was last year. I am expecting Bond to be the number-one target for Ewers this season. I would not be shocked if Bond flirts with a 1,000-yard season.
