Rory McIlroy Less Than 66.5 Strokes
Rory was not able to get on his horse in round three but he has 18 holes to make another comeback at The Renaissance Club. He knows what it is like to accomplish that feat since that is exactly what he did to steal the 2023 Scottish Open from Robert MacIntyre.
Rory is within striking distance and playing well. The club that is leaving him from contention is the putter. He can surely find it for a round and post a low one. Even if the putter is mediocre, I expect Rory to go low enough to cash you an Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em leg.
Robert MacIntyre More Than 67 Strokes
Bob posted a great round three in his home open, but he really looked like he left it all on the line. Winning this means everything to MacIntyre, and the public knows that. They are going to hammer his props, but we are going to go the other direction. These numbers are going to be inflated and well below what they should be. Fade Robert MacIntyre in the final round of the Scottish Open.
