We head to Scotland as links season begins! For the third consecutive year, The Renaissance Clubs hosts The Scottish Open as a co-sanctioned event. Although labeled a links design, we will see plenty of American elements here compared to a course you are used to seeing in Scotland. Below, we will take a look at The Underdog Fantasy Pick’em board for the first round of the 2024 Scottish Open.

Xander is coming into this event in immaculate form, which is great to see. He won here in 2022 and is primed to have another great week. I am expecting the conditions to be somewhat easy this week, and the par 5s are a great chance to grab a few birdies.
Xander’s added distance will have him in a great position to score on these par 5s and cash an Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slip.

Viktor Hovland Lower Than 68 Strokes
Viktor has done a great job with links conditions in his career. He does not have the best history around The Renaissance Club in his career. On the bright side, he is trending, and this is a very benign line.
As I mentioned above, the conditions may be a tad easier, so a 68 should be no problem for Viktor to post. Wake and cash this week by adding Xander and Viktor to your Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slips for round one of the Scottish Open.
