Welcome back to Five Minute Fantasy Football. We love talking about our favorite players, but what players are you avoid. In this podcast I talk about fantasy football busts. What makes a fantasy football bust? I am not considering players being drafted outside of the top 50 picks or Top-12 at their position.
In most cases, it’s not really that I hate the player. It’s almost always about value. The higher you draft a player, the greater the risk. I would rather take riskier players lower in the draft. Risking less and leaving more room for return on my investment. Taking risk and drafting a fantasy football bust in Round 1 or 2 is a quick way to lose in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football Bust Candidates: 7 Players being OVERDRAFTED?
Two of the hottest names in fantasy football this year are De’Von Achane and Anthony Richardson. Both are sexy draft picks right now that come with HUGE upside. They also come with massive risk potential, especially with their current draft cost. Anthony Richardson is being drafted as QB6 and is a 1st round Superflex pick. Achane is RB8 and the 23rd overall selection in 1 Quarterback formats. In our next episodes we will talk more about Sleepers and Breakout Candidates.
