The weekend is here in Silvis, Illinois! The birdies slowed down just a tad because of some wind, and the course dried out as well. Tomorrow, we should see the wind die down and the birdies continue to flow. The leaderboard is jam-packed, which will keep everyone in the field very aggressive. There should still be a ton of lines to attack after the scores got a little harder on Friday. Here are the John Deere Classic Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Plays for July 6th.

John Deere Classic Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Plays – July 6th, 2024
Adam Svensson Lower Than 67 Strokes
Svensson is in at -11 heading into the weekend. He is striping the golf ball and giving himself a ton of birdie looks. The fact that Svensson is 49th in the field in birdies and in a tie for tenth shows how solidly he is playing.
The iron play is so hot now, and the putter is waiting to heat up. I like Svensson to go on a run on Saturday and work his way up the leaderboard. Add Svensson to your Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slip.

Aaron Rai More Than 66 Strokes
Rai is back at the top of the leaderboard for back-to-back weeks. Rai’s key to success this week is the putter. Through 36 holes, he is first in the field in putting. Eight strokes putting in two rounds is very elite. Simply putt, it is due to regress.
Rai is in solid form and should be comfortable at the moment, but I do not believe buying him at the peak is smart. Rai is a great fade for your Underdog Fantasy Pick’em slip.
