It didn’t look like we’d get here, but we have a Stanley Cup Final Game 7 between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers on Monday night.
The Oilers took care of business on home ice in Game 6 with a 5-1 victory to force a winner-take-all Game 7 in Sunrise. The Panthers have now lost three straight games and are staring one of the worst collapses in hockey history — sports history? — in the face.
Let’s get right into our Stanley Cup Final Game 7 betting preview with game info, odds, picks, and more!

Stanley Cup Final Game 7 Picks & Predictions
The Edmonton Oilers will be facing elimination for the sixth and final time in these Stanley Cup Playoffs. On the flip side, Game 7 will be the first elimination game for the Florida Panthers.
The Oilers beat the Canucks 5-1 and 3-2 in Games 6 and 7 of the second round and are now 3-0 while facing elimination against the Panthers with an 18-5 goal differential. Despite the odds, they haven’t been phased; in fact, they’ve stayed cool, calm, and collected.
A big part of that has been goaltender Stuart Skinner. The Oilers have allowed just five goals in four Game 6s or 7s in these playoffs, most impressively with Skinner making 33 saves on 34 shots to eliminate the Stars in the Western Conference Final.
Connor McDavid was held off the scoresheet completely in Game 6 with no points and no shots on goal. The Oilers’ depth has been questioned, including by yours truly, and it’s shown up in recent games.
It’s hard to bet against the Oilers at this point after how the Panthers looked so defeated in Game 6. The Cats only had 21 shots on Friday night with Aleksander Barkov (three) and Anton Lundell (two) being the only forwards with multiple shots on goal.
Still, the Cats have been great at home all season long with a 34-16-3 record, while the Oilers are 28-23-2 on the road.
The best bet for this Game 7 is undoubtedly the Under 5.5, but I can’t bet against the Panthers at home. Maybe it’ll be insanity. Maybe it’ll finally be a win.
