Today’s show features Underdog Picks for Friday in Major League Baseball and the Stanley Cup Final. First I target the now healthy Trea Turner in the Phillies matchup with the Diamondbacks and struggling starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery. The DBacks thrower got back on track vs the White Sox in his last start, but 90+ degrees at 6:40 PM in Philly could be a recipe for disaster, and an opportunity for Trea Turner.
Next I cool things down with a pick on the ice. Panthers goalie Sergey Bobrovsky was the people’s champ after three games in this series. But in the last two games it has been all Edmonton and Connor McDavid, early AND often. I have a pick on the first period in game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Lastly I go to the night cap where Angels starting pitcher, Patrick Sandoval is taking on the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine. The lefty has allowed a ton of hits in most of his starts, but this Dodgers lineup does not have righty Mookie Betts. Can the boys in blue do damage without their regular leadoff man vs a pitcher who has allowed 6+ hits in 3 of his last 5 starts?
These three plays together yield a 4.86 multiplier. Lets get a winner heading into the weekend with these Underdog picks for Friday!
