There is no offseason in fantasy football, especially in dynasty. By now, you’re firing up your rookie drafts, or perhaps you’ve already had them. Either way, you may be looking to turn your team around. Perhaps you took an orphan team over that needs more than a little help. If you’re looking to kick around some values, we have you covered. This is our fantasy football dynasty trade value chart for May of 2024.
This isn’t a step-by-step how-to guide. Everybody values players just a little differently. You won’t be able to follow it exactly like the letter of the law. However, it’s a good start to get your trade conversations going. In fact, I’ve used it to show somebody that the deal they were offering was way off in terms of value.

Fantasy Football Dynasty Trade Value Chart – May 2024 Update
Methodology
If you haven’t reviewed our Fantasy Football dynasty trade value chart before, here’s a little on the methodology. First, our rankings system takes FantasyPros’ best, worst, and average rankings. We also throw in a little standard deviation to count all variables.
Second, you have to consider average fantasy football points per game because that’s what fantasy football is all about. Third, values will change throughout the year, especially as rookies get their fantasy football points. And last, we listened to your feedback and altered some things.
Another metric that plays with the dynasty chart is a player’s age. Somebody who is 22 will have a more weighted value than a player who is 32. Is that saying that 22-year-old players are always more talented than 32-year-olds? Absolutely not.
However, it is considered more thoroughly in dynasty because, at 22, the player will likely be around longer to acquire points for the following years. Considering all that and running it through our formulas, we can assign a value for each player. This value can help weigh your fantasy football trades and improve your future team!
One last thing: rookies are hard to gauge. One of the main reasons they are hard to gauge is that they haven’t acquired any fantasy football points yet, while we can look back on the past year for other players. Therefore, they’ve been assigned a fantasy football point value that’s based on the average points around them.

Quarterbacks Recap
It’s no secret that on the fantasy football dynasty trade value chart, for Superflex, the most important position is quarterback. Heading into the season, Josh Allen reigns at the top. His rushing ability and big pass game have led to him leading in average fantasy football points per game. It will be interesting to see how he performs with an almost completely new receiving corp.
He is tied with Patrick Mahomes, who is older and had slightly fewer fantasy points per game. You can’t go wrong with either of these guys. At third is last year’s rookie of the year, C.J. Stroud. It will be interesting to see if he can continue the top-performing success he had last year. If he does, he’ll be at the top of this list in no time, especially as the Texans continue to build around him.
Fourth is Jalen Hurts. He had the top spot for most of last year but fell slightly down. Finally, in fifth is Anthony Richardson. He battled injuries last year. However, if he can stay healthy, he’s a freak athlete who can bring you big points each week. The top rookies in order are Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, and then Bo Nix.

Running Backs Recap
After such a great rookie year, it should be no surprise that Bijan Robinson is the top running back on the fantasy football dynasty trade value chart. He may be even better this year as the Falcons add a more competent quarterback to the mix, meaning defenses can’t just key in on the run.
Bijan has a healthy lead over second-place Breece Hall. Hall was injured in 2022 and came back with a vengeance in 2023, averaging 17.1 points per game.
Third place is Christian McCaffrey. He led running backs in fantasy points per game. However, in a dynasty league, his age weighs him slightly down. He’s still young enough and in the right system that he’ll continue to be relevant.
Tied with him is Jahmyr Gibbs. Gibbs shared the workload with David Montgomery last year, but he started to get more involved as the season went on. He’ll still share a workload, but he’s a top option.
De’Von Achane and Kenneth Walker are tied for fifth. However, they are quite a ways down in value compared to the top spot. As flashy as Achane is, I’m actually more partial to Kenneth Walker. The Dolphins have quite a crowded backroom, while Walker just battles with Charbonnet for touches, and it wasn’t much of a battle last year.

Wide Receivers Recap
The top of the entire fantasy football dynasty trade value chart is Justin Jefferson. He’s only 24-years-old. Even with missing some games, he was one of the top fantasy football wide receivers last year. If you want to point to the fact that he’ll have either Sam Darnold or rookie J.J. McCarthy throwing to him, I get it. However, last year, it was Dobbs, Mullens, and a crazy cast of misfits.
Behind him, just barely, are both Amon-Ra St. Brown and CeeDee Lamb. St. Brown was electric last year, creating a great rapport with Jared Goff. That will likely carry over into 2024. Lamb has been dominating the past couple of years as Dak Prescott’s go-to receiver.
It will be interesting to see if he can keep that going, as Dak is another year older, the run game is questionable, and the offensive line is likely the worst it’s been since Lamb has been there.
Fourth is Ja’Marr Chase. Even though he’s hoping for a new deal and currently holding out, Chase is an electric talent. Even after Joe Burrow went down with an injury, Chase continued to produce at a high level.
Fifth on the fantasy football dynasty trade value chart is Marvin Harrison. It’s hard for me to put a rookie in the top five when we haven’t seen him play a professional down of football yet. However, he is a generational talent. Personally, I’d take Puka Nacua, who is right behind him, just on the basis that he’s proven himself already.

Tight Ends Recap
The number one fantasy football tight end finds himself at the top of the dynasty trade value chart for tight ends this year. Sam Laporta confirmed that you don’t have to be afraid of rookie tight ends anymore, as he led the league in fantasy football points in 2023. He’ll look to carry over into 2024, and at 23 years old, he can do that.
Trey McBride is behind LaPorta. He also took huge strides last year as he stepped in for Zach Ertz as the top option for the Cardinals. He may lose a couple of targets to newcomer Marvin Harrison but he should still be one of the top dynasty tight ends.
Third on the list is Mark Andrews. He’s slightly older, at age 28. However, he’s a top option for Lamar Jackson. They do have another tight end in Isaiah Likely, but I don’t think Mark Andrews is going anywhere yet.
There’s a three-way tie at fourth. Travis Kelce is a top tight-end option in fantasy football. However, for dynasty, he’s 34 years old and starting to slow. He’s tied with Dalton Kincaid, the 2023 rookie who slowly became one of Josh Allen’s favorite targets. With Diggs gone, he should get more targets.
Finally, tied at fourth, is rookie Brock Bowers. His landing spot led to some questions on his fantasy football value. However, Bowers is a physical freak of nature who should find success despite where he landed. Behind them is Kyle Pitts. He’s left much to be desired to fantasy managers so far. However, now he will catch passes from Kirk Cousins, the best quarterback he’s played with.
