Best Week 13 DraftKings Value Plays

Each week on DraftKings, one of the keys to building a good lineup is unlocking good value plays. You may only need two or three of these players in your lineup, but they’ll unlock the ability to play stud players with incredibly high ceilings. I’ve outlined the best value plays at each position on DraftKings for Week 13.

Best Week 13 DraftKings Value Plays

Quarterback:

Brock Purdy ($6.1K) – I usually write up value QBs under $6K, but Purdy is a perfect value play. He’s playing in one of the higher totals on the slate and a revenge rematch of the NFC Championship game vs. the Eagles. The same game that knocked him out with his elbow injury. This will be a little extra motivation for Purdy and the 49ers offense. And when Purdy has all his weapons, he is dealing and dialed in. Also, the Eagles can be attacked through the passing game.

Kenny Pickett ($5.1K) – We saw a major improvement in the Steelers’ offense with a new offensive coordinator (and no Matt Canada) last week. Pickett didn’t have a passing touchdown but threw for 278 yards. If the touchdown variance breaks his way, he will easily pay off this cheap price tag. He also has a great matchup against the Cardinals secondary at home.

HONORABLE MENTION:  Joe Flacco ($4600) – if he plays

Running back:

Zach Moss ($4.6K) – This week, you’ll hear analysts refer to Moss as a “free square.” That means his price is so low for his role and volume that it will be hard for him to not pay off this cheap price tag since this was priced before Jonathan Taylor was ruled out.

Jaylen Warren ($5.4K) OR Najee Harris ($4.9K) – I wrote up the Steelers RBs last week, and it was Harris who had more rushing yards and a touchdown. Honestly, either one is in play again this week, even though it’s a split backfield. I would not play them together, but choose your favorite Steelers running back. With the new offensive coordinator, we saw a vast improvement to the Steelers offense and Harris specifically.

HONORABLE MENTION:  Rhamondre Stevenson ($6K), Jerome Ford ($5.5K)

Wide Receiver:

A.T. Perry ($3.3K) – If both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed are out this week, Perry is essentially the top Saints’ receiver. Even if one of them plays, Perry is still viable at this cheap tag.

Jahan Dotson ($4.6K) or Curtis Samuel ($4.1K)  – Samuel is coming off a massive Thanksgiving performance with nine receptions for 100 yards. But Washington spreads the ball out so much that it could be any receiver, including Dotson, who will be lower-owned. This is a perfect runback to popular Dolphins’ stacks.

HONORABLE MENTION:  Greg Dortch ($3.7), George Pickens ($4.8K)

Tight End:

Juwan Johnson ($3.4K) – With the Saints potentially missing multiple receivers, several targets could funnel to Johnson. At his price, he could be a steal for the volume of targets.

Gerald Everett ($3.5K) – The Chargers’ offense is depleted of weapons outside of Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler. Everett stepped up last week in his return and will need to be the 3rd weapon in this offense.

HONORABLE MENTION:  Hunter Henry ($3.4K), Logan Thomas ($3.6K), Cade Otten ($3.2K), Tyler Conklin ($3K)
