After a weekend off for an international break, the Premier League returns for a full slate of matches, and the Sports Gambling Podcast Network has you covered with our EPL Matchday 13 best bets.
The first game on the schedule is the headliner, with Liverpool traveling to Manchester City for the early Saturday kick. Chelsea at Newcastle and Brentford versus Arsenal are other great matches on the same day.
Meanwhile, Sunday’s doubleheader starts with Tottenham Hotspur facing Aston Villa. This is followed by Manchester United at Everton, and Fulham welcomes Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.
This card is loaded with great fixtures all across England. Let’s dive into our favorite plays of the weekend for our EPL Matchday 13 best bets.
EPL Matchday 13 Best Bets
Manchester City vs. Liverpool – What a match to return to! I think City is overvalued here, but the injuries on both sides keep me away.
Sheffield United vs. Bournemouth – Are we sure the Cherries should be favored on the road? The Blades almost made this card.
Nottingham Forest vs. Brighton – You might be getting Seagulls at their lowest price point of the season. However, the Trees are tough at home.
Burnley vs. West Ham – The odds seem right here. I don’t see any value.
Luton Town vs. Crystal Palace – Palace should get Michael Olise back, which is huge. I would still be betting on the home side before the visitors in this spot.
Newcastle vs. Chelsea – Newcastle’s injury list is lengthy right now. I still don’t trust Chelsea here on the road.
Spurs vs. Aston Villa – Villa PK (+110) Bet365
Tottenham will be missing many key players on Sunday, giving Villa all the betting value. The Spurs’ injury list includes James Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Richarlison.
To make matters worse, Christian Romero and Yves Bissouma are both suspended. This would mean five starters are missing from the Tottenham starting lineup that beat Liverpool earlier this year.
Yes, Unai Emery’s team has had its struggles on the road. However, I can’t ignore the depleted squad the Villans are facing.
I also think a sprinkle on the moneyline is worth a look here at +160 odds or better.
Everton vs. Manchester United – Everton PK (+108) Bet365
I’m following a similar theme as my pick above by fading a weakened United side. We already know that Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martínez are out.
Over the international break, both Andre Onana and Marcus Rashford picked up knocks. There are also huge doubts over Luke Shaw and striker Rasmus Højlund.
This was already a Red Devils team that owns a -1.7 xGDiff away from home, according to fbref.com. They also gave up eight combined goals in the Champions League losses at Bayern Munich and FC Copenhagen.
Everton was rocked by a point deduction last week that sent the club into the relegation zone, making every match more important. Meanwhile, the Toffees have been unlucky at home, posting a +4.6 xGDiff.
I like the home team to get a result here. Whether you want to play the moneyline alone or in a parlay with Villa, I am on board with both options to close out our EPL Matchday 13 best bets.
Fulham vs. Wolves – Fulham’s João Palhinha (suspension) and Pedro Neto (injury) for Wolves are both out. With the two best players gone, this is an easy pass on Monday night.
